Premiums for Property Insurance still soar in Florida. Cancellations increase too. Whether Homeowner's Insurance Coverage or Commercial Property Coverage, these and other facts make Catastrophe Claims Coverage for potential future Hurricane Damage nonexistent or unaffordable in Florida. The January, 2007 Special Session of the Florida Legislature did not result in the lowered premiums and greater availability of CatClaims Coverage that were goals. It is time to proactively address the current situation.
