Tornadoes struck all these States. Wisconsin received
its first Tornado in the month of January in 41 years.
Tornadoes and floods swept away homes and commercial buildings across the Heart of the Nation early this week. Catastrophes hit the States of Arkansas, Illinois, Missouri and Wisconsin. As night follows day, Millions of Dollars in Catastrophe Claims will surely follow these Catastrophes which are reported on by Catrin Einhorn, "Unusual January Storms Strike Midwest, Killing at Least 6" p. A12, col. 1 (New York Times Nat'l Ed., Wed., Jan. 9, 2008).
Earlier this same week, posts on this Web Log addressed Catastrophe Claims coming from California, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Colorado, Nevada and New Mexico. This year of 2008 gives every appearance in the early going in January to be a year that just might be twisted, blown, burned and flooded to the point of overflowing with Catastrophe Claims.
