Florida has thanks be to God not yet been physically overwhelmed with the BP oil spill like Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi. Not yet. The Damages Claims have come nonetheless. More are on the way.
Claims for Damages as a result of the BP Oil Spill Catastrophe, without manifest physical damage at this time, include and future Claims reportedly will include Claims for Damages such as:
- Hotels which have lost reservations in Florida compared to past years.
- Real estate brokers who have lost commissions on sales and rentals.
- Suppliers of tourist industry businesses in Florida, such as "food wholesalers" and "pest control companies, for hotels who were scaling back orders."
- A restaurant in Madeira Beach and other points on the Florida Gulf Coast.
