In January, Senator Mitch McConnell voted to lift some Russian sanctions. So did his fellow Kentucky Senator, Rand Paul.
Yesterday, an aluminum company announced a $200 Million investment in its proposed factory in Kentucky. The $200 Million is coming from the same Russians that used to be restrained by those sanctions.
The sanctions would have prevented the investment. But, as you know, the sanctions were lifted and the Russian money is heading to Kentucky.
'Just a coincidence,' says Mitch McConnell.
Sure. Expect more Kentucky horse droppings before this is over.
