On Monday this article was posted here: DON'T PRETEND TO BE TRANSPARENT, IF YOU'RE NOT TRANSPARENT.
On Tuesday newspapers reported that Mayor Pete said he will disclose his McKinsey clients, "open his fund raisers to reporters and reveal the names of people raising money for his presidential campaign[.]" Reid J. Epstein and Jonathan Martin, Buttigieg Will Disclose Former Consulting Clients, NEW YORK TIMES, Tuesday, December 10, 2019, p. A21 (the New York Times may charge for online access).
Let's see. Pete stopped working for McKinsey in March 2010. He spent close to three years there. So 9 1/2 years later in December 2019, Mayor Pete said he will release a list of his McKinsey clients.
Second, Mayor Pete announced his candidacy of transparency for President of the United States on April 14, 2019. Forced into transparency five months later, he says that he will now allow reporters into his fundraisers and he says that he will now reveal the names of the money bundlers who bundle together the contributions for his campaign.
How long did that take?
