PRAY FOR THE ECONOMY?

At our televised Church services this Palm Sunday morning, we learned from the homily that one of our prayers is apparently supposed to be "for the economy."

The economy is people. People who have jobs. People who get paid for work. People who have to pay bills and who cannot pay their bills without their jobs.

I hope that we all think of people when we think of the economy.

And I hope that it's the thought of people that was in everyone's mind when they said that we should pray "for the economy" this Palm Sunday morning.
