and the last weekend of early voting.
THIS CALL FROM FLORIDA FOR ALL--ELECTION PROTECTION FOR VOLUNTEER LAWYERS TO SERVE IN PERSON AT POLLING PLACES WAS RECEIVED BY EMAIL TODAY, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2020.
We have five days left to make a difference!
Thank you to everyone who turned out for National Early Vote Day last weekend to support voter actions at 29 early voting sites throughout Florida.
Now we need to prepare for the last weekend of early voting and Election Day. We have seen increased partisan voter suppression and police presence outside of polling sites throughout the state, and anticipate that this will continue over the weekend and next Tuesday. We need everyone to step up to make sure eligible voters are able to cast their ballots.
If you are a lawyer, law student, or paralegal who can volunteer in person to help support voters at polling sites on Oct. 31 or Nov. 3, please complete this google form as soon as possible.
