Reflecting on a further insight into how the gun-control laws in the District of Columbia saved the Republic.
It was because of those laws that the insurrectionists did not bring guns on January 6th. They did not bring guns because they couldn't. Most of them flew into D.C. They ran two grave risks, it seems to me. The first is that the airlines would expose their guns and them to law enforcement authorities. Insurrection over, even before it started.
The second risk they faced if they flew into D.C. with guns is that the airlines would not let them fly. Again, insurrection over.
Imagine how many people they could have killed if only they had their guns with them on January 6th.
