THEY FAILED.

With every new revelation the enormity of their failure increases.

          But this is not the story we hear reported.

          First we heard about one draft Executive Order, for example.  Then another.

          Now we hear about Memos, Memos, Memos suggesting to agencies and departments of the federal government to take over.

          All we get are laments about how close we came to losing democracy, outrage over admittedly despicable behavior.

          But as important as those things may be, they are not the real story.  The real story is that they failed.

          Completely.

          Totally.

          With every new revelation the enormity of their failure increases:  That is the story.  Hiding in plain sight, as they say.
