Carpenters' motto: Measure once, cut twice. Lawyers who cross-examine witnesses can learn from that motto.
I have read the trial transcript of Thursday's renewed cross-examination by Susan Necheles, Esquire of the witness Stormy Daniels. Ms. Necheles' approach seems to have been written with blinders on, that Ms. Daniels worked in adult films, what Ms. Necheles called "porn," and so the jury should not believe Ms. Daniels.
It was Melania who posted nude photos of herself on the Internet. Not Stormy Daniels.
It was Melania who reportedly came up with the description of the Hollywood Access tape as "locker room talk." Not Stormy Daniels.
It was not Melania that Their Furor summoned to his bedroom at a golf tournament while his bodyguard stood outside the one doorway. It was Stormy Daniels.
Remember: Measure twice, cross once.
